GROUND CONTROL BETA
Hi folks,

Here's the links for the Ground Control beta. Use caution with this build as it's still a work in progress. There are bugs, you may lose data.

Changes:

  1. Added adaptive subdivision for Ground Control primitive or importing to mesh. This option adds detail where it's most needed. It will use the same number of facets as the normal subdivision would generate as its top end or optionally, a percent error.
  2. Fixed bounding box for Ground Control primitive on import.
  3. More consistent preview resolution support on a Ground Control primitive.
  4. Fixed native resolution display for Ground Control primitive on import.
  5. Fixed where Terrain distribution of version of the SRTM Shapefile shader would show on the normal shader list.
  6. Added experimental cropping to Lat/Long values on SRTM Shapefile shader.
  7. Added broader Shapefile support to SRTM Shapefile shader. Still not a full Shapefile shader, but will work with more files than before.
  8. Added experimental support for gray scale PGM file format.
  9. Changed Ground Control importer to use the Ground Control primitive shader as a default when importing to a Ground Control primitive.
  10. Remove the import as a terrain object from the importer. It's best to use the GC Importer Terrain filter for this now.
  11. Added status bars to mesh generation for Ground Control primitive.
  12. Added a facets label on the Ground Control primitive UI to give feedback on the size of the mesh.
